Kathleen (she/her) is a freelance costumer, stitcher, and creative based in Tkaronto | Toronto, ON. She grew up on Coast Salish Territories | Victoria, BC and holds dual citizenship between Canada and the UK.
As a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Performance with a BFA in Performance Production (2019), she has worked in both theatre and dance on a variety of productions. She is also near completion of a Certificate in Social Media Marketing at George Brown.
Kathleen has worked with Dora Mavor Moore winning Choreographers such as Peggy Baker, Frog in Hand, and Valerie Calam. My work has been showcased at the Toronto Fringe Festival, The Citadel + Compagnie, and the Harbourfront Centre Theatre.
Kathleen is eager to collaborate on work that uplifts LGTBQIA+, Indigenous, BIPOC, and Disabled voices. She has a personal interest in abstract costumes that focus on texture and movement, as well as a fascination with turn-of-the century costumes (1880-1950), Avant-Garde fashion, and the use of colour in costumes in Technicolor films.
